Your turn first: play, then press End your turn. Their turn is shown one move at a time — press Continue (or Space) to go on — we pause whenever you can respond. Passing is often right: the lesson is when to stop passing.

Details

Your turn, then hers. You're on 6. Riven is on 6 and holds both battlefields: a Scuttle Crab (0) took your Startipped Peak (A), Astral Heron (7) holds Emperor's Dais (B). Riven, Broken Blade (4; she buffs herself to 5 as she moves), Bedeviling Stranger (2) and Tideturner (2) wait at her base; on her turn she'll Hold B (7) and attack A with all three: 9. Her runes are spent. Rek'Sai, Breacher (3, [Assault]: 4 attacking; units you play from anywhere but your hand have [Accelerate]) is Ready. Void Burrower: when you conquer, you may exhaust it to reveal your top 2 and play one. Your top cards: a Vanguard Sergeant (4), then a Void Drone (3; [2] less from the deck). In hand: Call to Glory ([Reaction], 3: +3 Might this turn), Imperial Decree and Magma Wurm. Seven ready runes. Take A — and still control it when her turn ends. Your Legend's trigger asks you.

How to play
  • Move: drag ready units onto a battlefield (or click units, then click where they go). They wait there, faded, until you press Confirm in the panel on the right — units that fight together must move together.
  • Runes: playing a card pays from them on its own. To float Energy or Power first, click a rune: Tap gives Energy, Recycle gives Power.
  • Cards: drag a card from your hand onto its target, or click it and then click the glowing target. The play waits in the panel on the right until you confirm it (Esc cancels).
  • Abilities:click your Legend (one click uses its ability), Gear, or a unit's ✧ badge.
  • Point at any card to see it large; right-click to read it. Hint, Undo and Retry are at the top.
