Broken, Not Beaten

Late in your turn. You're on 7 and Held A this turn — a Shipyard Skulker and the Scuttle Crab you played stand there, both Exhausted — and the Crab and Discipline took every rune you had: none is left in play. At base: Riven, Broken Blade (4, buffed: 5, Ready) — "When I become exhausted, choose one that hasn't been chosen this turn: Buff[Buff] me / Spend my buff to Stun[Stun] an enemy unit / Spend my buff to ready me" — with Blade of the Exile unattached beside her (+3 Might; "Equip[Equip] — [C] or exhaust a friendly unit"). In hand: Tideturner, Zhonya's Hourglass and Astral Heron, none of them castable now. Darius (5) holds B with Revna the Lorekeeper (7); he's tapped out, with two cards in hand and a Legion Rearguard resting at his base. Take B.

The Final Point: One point from victory, a Conquer gives you the final point only if you've Scored every battlefield this turn — by a Hold or a Conquer, either counts. Otherwise it draws a card instead. You've already Scored Grove of the God-Willow (A) this turn — it stays Scored, whoever is there now. Conquering The Grand Plaza (B) scores your final point.

• Move: drag ready units onto a battlefield (or click units, then click where they go). They wait there, faded, until you press Confirm in the panel on the right — units that fight together must move together.
• Runes: playing a card pays from them on its own. To float Energy or Power first, click a rune: Tap gives Energy, Recycle gives Power.
• Cards: drag a card from your hand onto its target, or click it and then click the glowing target. The play waits in the panel on the right until you confirm it (Esc cancels).
• Abilities:click your Legend (one click uses its ability), Gear, or a unit's ✧ badge.
• Point at any card to see it large; right-click to read it. Hint, Undo and Retry are at the top.
