Your turn first: play, then press End your turn. Their turn is shown one move at a time — press Continue (or Space) to go on — we pause whenever you can respond. Passing is often right: the lesson is when to stop passing.

Details

Your turn, then Riven's. You're on 7 and held A this turn: still hold it when your next turn starts, and that Hold is your 8th. Riven is on 6 and holds B with Astral Heron (7) and Stellacorn Herder (3) — her Hold makes 7, so taking A on her turn wins her the game. Her Astral Heron (7) and Riven, Broken Blade (4; she buffs herself to 5 when she attacks) will come for A, held only by your exhausted Sunlit Guardian (3, [Shield], [Tank]). Every rune of hers readies on her turn; she holds two cards (a Riven list: Defy, Discipline). Vex, Mocking (5, [Shield], [Tank]) is exhausted at base: "When you [Stun] an enemy unit at a battlefield, you may move me to that battlefield." In hand: Shadow (3 Energy, 3 Might: "If you play me to a battlefield, I enter ready. [Action] — [1][C], [T]: [Stun] an enemy unit attacking here."), Rune Prison (2 Energy + Calm: stun a unit) and Stellacorn Herder (4 Energy, 3 Might). Four runes ready — they won't ready again before her turn. Get ready, end your turn, then keep A.

How to play
  • Move: drag ready units onto a battlefield (or click units, then click where they go). They wait there, faded, until you press Confirm in the panel on the right — units that fight together must move together.
  • Runes: playing a card pays from them on its own. To float Energy or Power first, click a rune: Tap gives Energy, Recycle gives Power.
  • Cards: drag a card from your hand onto its target, or click it and then click the glowing target. The play waits in the panel on the right until you confirm it (Esc cancels).
  • Abilities:click your Legend (one click uses its ability), Gear, or a unit's ✧ badge.
  • Point at any card to see it large; right-click to read it. Hint, Undo and Retry are at the top.
