Deny the Overkill

You're on 6; Riven is on 7 and holds both battlefields — if she still holds one when her turn starts, she wins. A: Bedeviling Stranger (2). B: Riven, Broken Blade (4). Astral Heron (7) waits at her base. She kept three runes up, with three cards in hand (a Riven list: Gust returns a unit at a battlefield with 3 Might or less to its owner's hand — hers too; Discipline is +2; Defy counters a spell). Vi, Destructive (3, Ganking[Ganking]) is ready at base: "Recycle 1 from your trash: Give me +1 Might this turn." Six cards in your trash. Your Petty Officer came down this turn, exhausted; your runes are spent. Piltover Enforcer: "When you conquer, if you assigned 3 or more excess damage, you may exhaust me to ready a unit." Take both battlefields this turn.

• Move: drag ready units onto a battlefield (or click units, then click where they go). They wait there, faded, until you press Confirm in the panel on the right — units that fight together must move together.
• Runes: playing a card pays from them on its own. To float Energy or Power first, click a rune: Tap gives Energy, Recycle gives Power.
• Cards: drag a card from your hand onto its target, or click it and then click the glowing target. The play waits in the panel on the right until you confirm it (Esc cancels).
• Abilities:click your Legend (one click uses its ability), Gear, or a unit's ✧ badge.
• Point at any card to see it large; right-click to read it. Hint, Undo and Retry are at the top.
