Kennen (post-ban): Matriarch
The real post-ban Kennen list, from Los Angeles: no Stacked Deck — and no Nocturne either. It charges Heart of the Tempest from the trash instead: three Tail-Cloaked Matriarchs, whose [Empower] plays a cheap unit back from your trash, three Shadow Order Disciples that Burn cards into it, and Tornado Warrior, a [Hidden] unit that springs into a fight on the opponent's turn.
How it works ◆
- Tail-Cloaked Matriarch: [2][Chaos] to empower her — then she plays a unit costing at most [3] and [C] from your trash to your base. A play from the trash charges Heart of the Tempest.
- Shadow Order Disciple Burns the top card of your deck when it moves: +1 Might, and one more card in the trash for the Matriarch (and for Rhasa).
- Ride the Wind wakes what the Matriarch brings back — it enters exhausted.
- Tornado Warrior hides at a battlefield you hold and joins a fight there for 0.
- Lightning Rush, Minefield and Shadow Temple keep the trash full.
