Ivern's Intermediate and harder trials now use his own Calm/Order pool against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides, so a wrong line plays out to their win. Shelter from the Ray is Shelter from the Wages (Viktor's Wages of Pain plays the Ray's part) and Friends Through the Night an Intermediate; Ready Over Rare, Buff Before the Ray and Fetch the Cat are Beginner trials.

Jinx's Intermediate and harder trials now use her own Fury/Chaos pool against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides and the opponent one point from winning, so a wrong line ends in their win. The Rocket Returns needs one Rocket now: its return is the discard that wakes Rebel. Ray First, Back to Base, Two Triggers and Empty the Clip are Beginner trials now.

Leona's Intermediate and harder trials now use her own Calm/Order pool against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides, so a wrong line plays out to their win. Solari Verdict is an Intermediate now and Eclipse at Noon a Leona, Determined trial; Twin Dawns, Herald of the Dawn and Zealot's Call are Beginner trials.

Jax's Intermediate and harder trials now use his own Calm/Body pool against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides and the opponent one point from winning, so a wrong line ends in their win. Strip the Sergeant is Strip the Monk now: Riven keeps Gust up for a Jax who walks in unarmed. Energy, Not Power, Gage, Then Draw, No Body Needed and Deflect are Beginner trials now.

Renata Glasc's Intermediate and harder trials now use her own Mind/Order pool against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides, so a wrong line plays out to their win. In Borrowed Muscle and Hostile Takeover Riven keeps Defy up: only a 5-cost spell or a unit gets past it. Dig and Score, Pump, Don't Pull, Two Ready Tokens and Golden Hour are Beginner trials now.

Rek'Sai's Intermediate and harder trials now use her own Fury/Order pool against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides and the opponent close to winning, so a wrong line plays out to their win. Under the Ray is Under the Wages now: Viktor holds a Wages of Pain for whichever front you leave open. Breach, Keep A, Then Breach and The Bigger Reveal are Beginner trials now.

Miss Fortune's Intermediate and harder trials now use her own Body/Chaos pool against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides and the opponent one point from winning, so a wrong line plays out to their win. Bullet Time is a new puzzle: Riven hides a Tideturner that dodges your volley. Weigh Anchor is Intermediate now; Captain Before Crew and Turn the Tide are Beginner trials.

Yasuo's Intermediate and harder trials now use his own Calm/Chaos pool against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides and the opponent close to winning, so a wrong line plays out to their win. Counterstrike's Riven brings a Heron with Blade of the Exile; Wind Wall needs two Ride the Winds and a hidden Tideturner. Steel Tempest, Wake the Right One and Trade Places are Beginner trials now.

Zed's Intermediate and harder trials now use his own Fury/Chaos pool against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides and the opponent one point from winning, so a wrong line plays out to their win. Riven brings Decree of Focus in from her sideboard against your Fury units in Fury Is Seen and Two Places at Once. Dig for the Ray, Discard for Fury and Shadow Swap are Beginner trials now.

Lillia's Intermediate and harder trials now play on full boards against the Showdown's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, each one point from winning: hands, decks and trash on both sides, Defy, Gust and Wages of Pain to play around, and a wrong line plays out to their win. Four one-idea trials moved to Beginner.
A unit or gear played during a showdown, whether by [Ambush], from face down or with Last Caress, now gives the other player Focus, and both of you have to pass again before the showdown ends. Before, a player who had already passed never got to reply to it.

Ezreal's Intermediate and harder trials now face the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides. The opponent is on 7 in every one, so a wrong line plays out to their win. Mystic Shot has a Scuttle Crab to Gust away (Ezreal deals no combat damage, so even a 0 holds), and A Rune to Spare keeps the rune for Rengar's Punch First. Shoot and Scoot, Dig for the Answer and The Explorer's Draw are Beginner trials now; Keep the Cantrip is Intermediate.

Evelynn's Intermediate and harder trials now use her Agony's Embrace tournament pool against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides and the opponent one point from winning, so a wrong line plays out to their win. Pull and Barrage is Pull and Punch (Riven keeps Defy up), and Score, Then Spend is now an Expert trial across her turn and yours. Pull the Big One, Keep the Barrage, Wake and Pull and Hold, Score, Strike are Beginner trials now.
When a losing line plays out, a "may" prompt of yours (Emperor's Dais, Diana's pay) no longer stops it: the table says no for you and goes on. A "choose one" you must make gets picked for you, with a card saying what and why. In Overclock the Hammer, "Gate first" now plays through to Riven's win.
Line by Adrien

Garen's Intermediate and harder trials now face the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides. One Ray Short is One Wages Short: Viktor keeps three runes up for Wages of Pain. The opponent is one point from winning in every trial on your turn, so a wrong split plays out to their Hold. Hold Fast, Ambush at His Side and Duel on the Charge are Beginner trials now.

Azir's Intermediate and harder trials now play the top Emperor of the Sands lists against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven and Viktor, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides. Brutalizer's fresh +2 moves from unit to unit, Riven keeps Defy, Gust or Discipline up, and Viktor holds Wages of Pain for Sterak's Gage to answer. The opponent is one point from winning in every one, so a wrong line plays out to their win. Bring the Soldiers, Soldiers From Nowhere, Swap to Defend and Swap, Then Gage are Beginner trials now.
Line by Jin

Volibear's Intermediate and harder trials now face the Sacramento Top 8's Riven and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides. Riven keeps Discipline up in Eye of the Bear and wears two Blades in Bring the Storm; the opponent is a point or two from winning in every one, so most wrong lines play out to their win. Too Rich to Ray, Thirteen and Wait for the Combat are Beginner trials now.

Jayce's Intermediate and harder trials now face the Sacramento Top 8's Riven and Viktor, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides. Riven keeps Discipline up and Viktor holds Decree of Insight and Stupefy, so the swings have to be counted with their answers in. The opponent is one point from winning in every one, so a wrong line plays out to their win. Seven one-idea trials are Beginner trials now.
On a phone, tapping a Legend in the "Choose your Legend" strip now opens a small bar at the bottom of the screen with its name, its next trial and the orange Train button, so there's no scrolling back up to start. Close it with the ✕ or a tap anywhere else; the home page's rotation waits while it's open.
When a losing line plays out and you still hold an answer on their turn, the table now stops at "Your chance to respond" instead of passing for you. In Sixteen, you can cast Highlander on Hidden Blade and see why it still loses.

Vex's Intermediate and harder trials now face the Sacramento Top 8's Riven and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides. Riven keeps Defy up — Cheerless makes it too dear while Vex fights — and Rengar drops his [Ambush] units in for Apathetic to stun. The opponent is one point from winning in every one, so a wrong line plays out to their win. Seven one-idea trials are Beginner trials now.
The big Legend on the home page now moves on to the next one in the Legend strip every seven seconds, slowly, and back to the start after the last. It waits while your pointer is on a button or card, and a tap on a phone starts the wait over. The small pause button in the top-left corner stops and starts it, and your choice is remembered. With reduced motion on, it starts paused.

Shen's Intermediate, Advanced and Expert trials now play out on full boards against real tournament decks (Riven, Viktor and Rengar), and the opponent is one point from winning: get it wrong and you watch them take the game on their turn. Five one-idea trials moved down to Beginner.

Vi's Intermediate and harder trials now face the Sacramento Top 8's Viktor, Riven and Rengar, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides. Viktor keeps a Stupefy up, Riven Gusts her own unit to deny your overkill, and a wrong line plays out to their win. Nine one-idea trials are Beginner trials now; Glory, Then Double is retired.

Fiora's Intermediate and Advanced trials now play on full boards against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar, and they're close games: miss your line and you'll watch them take the win on their turn. Bait Viktor's Wages of Pain before you Riposte it, Riposte his Cull the Weak and keep the rune it makes, and pump Peerless inside her double before Rengar's Punch First. Six one-idea trials are Beginner trials now; En Garde and Buff, Not Pump are retired.

Rumble's Intermediate and harder trials now face the Sacramento Top 8's Riven and Viktor, with real hands, decks and runes on both sides. Riven keeps Defy, Discipline and Gust up, Viktor a Stupefy, and a wrong line gets answered on the table. Bubble Up, Breakneck Run and Leave the Runes Up are Beginner trials now.

Highlander, Master Yi's Signature spell, now does what its errata says: the next time your unit would die this turn, it's healed, exhausted and sent to base instead. The Master Yi starter deck runs two. In Sixteen, Viktor now holds Hidden Blade: keeping Alpha Strike for his attack no longer works, and Highlander saves Yi but loses A — only Level 16 keeps both.
When a line can't win any more, the table no longer stops at their answer. Your turn ends, and their turn plays out on the table, one move at a time, until they win. Then "Costly mistake" shows. The table says why your turn ended and recaps how they won. This happens in 92 wrong lines across Intermediate and harder trials, wherever the opponent really can win on their next turn.

In four Jarvan IV trials Darius held B with a Demacian Diplomat, a Body card his Fury and Order deck can't play. It's a Legion Rearguard now, the same 2 Might.

From a tester's suggestion: the turn after Standard on Their Turn. Hold your battlefield and take Demacian Standard back to your hand, then plant it again where Jarvan attacks. His conquer channels a rune, and Darius can only take one battlefield back. The Standard now really returns on a Hold, and an opponent's Hold really destroys it.

No more "keep Vex alive": reach 8 this turn. Draven is on 7 too, with both battlefields, a Fury rune and a face-down card at B — and a wrong line now plays out on his turn, all the way to his win. Thanks to Matteo.

Top decks, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert and Spotlights are now real tabs. Tap one and only its trials show under the Legend, with no jump down a long page. A page opens on the tier of the trial you're up to.

The trial now starts with Mindsplitter already at Seat of Power, so Diana can't just end her turn instead. Scorn of the Moon's Energy now empties when each showdown ends, as Diana's card says.

Found a rules bug or a combo mid-trial? Tap “Send this board” under the table: Submit an interaction opens with the board exactly as it stands — units, gear, hands, runes, score — already built, so you only describe what happened and what you expected.
On laptop-sized windows the page links slid under the search box and the account corner. The search now stays a button until the bar has room for it, and the links never shrink under the icons. Thanks, Nakko.

Jose's interaction: Mindsplitter is about to take Seat of Power, and you can't stop it. Thrill of the Hunt sends Nidalee to Emperor's Dais instead, on Diana's turn. With Pridestalker's +1 on her, she survives Stupefy and takes it, and your Hold wins.
Line by Jose
A trial built from a combo a tester sent in now says "Line by" and their name, on the trial page, the victory screen and the Legend hub. This page names them next to the change that added or updated their trial.
A battlefield the player whose turn it is already holds was scored at the start of that turn, so it can't be scored again by walking off and back in. Every reaction trial now marks it scored — on their turn for the opponent, on yours for you.

Wuju Master's Intermediate+ trials now play on full boards against the Sacramento Top 8's Riven, Viktor and Rengar lists, with replies that punish the tempting line: Riven's Defy and Discipline, Viktor's Wages of Pain, Rengar's Punch First. Single-idea trials moved down to Beginner; three repeats retired.

Wuju Bladesman's Intermediate+ trials rebuilt the same way: real Riven, Viktor and Rengar boards, defending alone against real replies. Seven single-idea trials moved down to Beginner; three repeats retired.

Adrien's combo, now an Expert trial. Clanging Sentry gives your Mechs [Disarm], Vilemaw silences attackers it out-Mights, and Incorrigible Construct now counts as a Mech. Play Bubble Bot first, take A with Hotheaded and scrap the Bot for a free Construct, then put every Disarm on Vilemaw.
Line by Adrien

Rampage and Kinkou Initiate's draw now work. A new Intermediate Rengar trial: Riven's Astral Heron comes for A tonight and no ambush budget holds it, so take B first and Rampage the Heron at her base before it can attack. Trophy at the Gate: Riven now keeps two runes for Defy, so a Rampage there gets answered.

Two more cards from the Sacramento Viktor list now work: Cull the Weak (each player kills one of their units) and Imperial Decree (any unit that takes damage this turn dies). Make Her Choose: leave Riven only one unit before you Cull. Decree First: on her turn, Decree, let it resolve, and only then spring the hidden Wages of Pain on her Astral Heron.

Sett, Brawler comes out of the Champion Zone Exhausted, so Showstopper is his only way to B, and once it moves him the fight starts at once. Spend his buff at base first, and Showstopper gives him a new one on the way in.
The home page now features one Intermediate-or-harder trial a day from a freshly reworked Legend, the same for everyone. Tap it to play, or open that Legend's trials.

Every Intermediate and harder Rengar trial now plays the Pridestalker list from the Sacramento $25K Showdown's Top 8 on a full board, against that Top 8's Riven and Viktor, and they answer back. Hide an Elnuk Herd for her turn, Sabotage her Defy before Thrill of the Hunt sends Rengar into a second fight, and keep Thrill for the spell that kills. Six one-idea trials are Beginner trials now; Execute and Again, Burn and Pounce and Pounce and Prowl are retired.

Every Intermediate and harder Viktor trial now plays the Viktor, Leader list from the Sacramento $25K Showdown's Top 8 on a full board, against that Top 8's Riven and Rengar, and Riven answers back with Discipline. Blade your own Sprite on her turn so its Recruit is ready on yours; Deathgrip the Sprite that's dying anyway. Count the Recruits, Feed the Recruit and Not a Card are Beginner trials now; Siphon Power and The Sovereign's Due are retired.
Chapter 9's Keep or send back, What do you play? and Is this deck legal? drills now show one at a time: pick an answer, then move on with Next or the arrows. Is this deck legal? shows your Master Yi starter deck as card pictures and walks through nine changes, guess first, then see the rule behind it.
Every Learn to Play drill now gives you only cards and runes your Legend's Domains allow, as a real deck would: a Volibear drill no longer hands you a Chaos unit. Some drills swap a card for one that does the same job, and a few show a different Legend. Card text now matches the printed cards: Kinkou Monk buffs two other units (not up to two), and Rabadon's Deathcrown gives your spells and abilities 3 Bonus Damage while it's attached. Reading a Card now shows a Power cost as its rune icon (the Fury rune's symbol for Fury Power) instead of calling it a pip.
First time here? A short pop-up now asks "New to Riftbound?" and points to Learn to Play, the course that ends in a full coached game. It shows once, and never if you've started the course.
The rest of the Radiance FAQ, played out: Gravity Field's toll (pay it before you move, and whoever performs the move pays), Angler Wyrm against Hunker Down, Possession on Ekko, Meticulous Restorationist with Iron Revenant, and Kharox playing your opponent's Neeko.
A new series made from Riot's official rules FAQs. Each trial is one judge call: a real board where the ruling decides who wins, the usual misreading punished, and the FAQ quoted with its rule numbers. The first set is the Radiance Rules FAQ (October 26): Atakhan's cost order, Hunters' Circle and The Exile with Baron Nashor, and how long "until your next Ending Phase" lasts.

Every Intermediate and harder Diana trial now plays Alanzq's Vancouver-winning list on a full board, mostly against the Rengar list that finished #2 behind it, and Rengar answers back with Inferna. Two now span both turns: take B, then hold up runes and Stupefy for tonight's Ambush — or let Lunari's Predict today line up tonight's Moonfall. Moonlit Ambush and Turn the Moon are Beginner trials now.

Every Intermediate and harder Sett trial now plays on a full board — hands, trash and runes on both sides — with more ways to go wrong: Wallop and Challenge tempt you to spend the buff The Boss needs, Kingpin can come in instead of Brawler, and Atakhan sits in hand when he can't be paid for. Free Ride Home now spans two turns: take B, Challenge the Packmaster at Ziggs's base, let The Boss bring Brawler home, and spring Here to Help on Ziggs's turn. Glory Isn't Free is a Beginner trial now, and Lying in Wait was folded into Set the Trap.
Chapter 8 turns rules into decisions: tempo vs value, card advantage, reading open runes, when to fight and when to hold, sequencing, racing, and reading your opponent (put Sett on a Punch First, and know when not to play around it). Every wrong line plays out on the table, with the opponent's punishing reply. The checkpoint is a full Sett board against Garen.
Chapter 9 ends the course with real games. Check whether a deck is legal by switching changes on the Master Yi starter deck, practise Mulligans and your first turns with real hands, then play a whole game against the AI with Master Yi or Ahri: a coach points out clear mistakes and lets you take them back. Graduate by winning a game on your own (or reaching 6 points). Games are saved on your device, and the AI no longer peeks at your hand.
In seven trials (Set the Snare, Twice in Two Turns, Twice the Scout, This Turn Only, Spring Then Ride, Shuriken Cut, Eye of the Storm) the opponent's Chosen Champion now sits in their Champion Zone, face up, instead of their hidden hand. It's known information, and it isn't part of their hand.
Chapter 1 now covers reading a card, card types, zones, and your Legend and Chosen Champion. Chapter 2 covers paying for cards: Power and Domains, the Rune Pool emptying, spending a whole turn, and cards that add or discount resources. Each lesson has drills, quick questions and a Predict, and each chapter ends with a checkpoint.
Two full chapters. Scoring and Winning: Conquer and Hold, once per battlefield per turn, the Final Point, Burn Out and counting to 8, with a checkpoint from 6 points. Timing: the turn, the Chain, [Action], [Reaction], answering on your opponent's turn, [Hidden] and triggers, ending with a checkpoint where you survive the opponent's whole turn. 22 new drills and two checkpoints, and every wrong line plays out on the table.
Chapters 3 and 4 are complete: moving, going home, [Ganking], [Accelerate] and holding ground; then Showdowns, damage, [Assault], [Shield], [Tank], [Deflect], ties and wipes, [Stun] and buffs. 25 drills with quizzes and Predict questions, and a checkpoint at the end of each chapter.
Chapter 7 adds lessons on gear and [Equip], activated abilities, and tokens, a second Show Off drill, and a Keyword reference with every keyword on the cards, a gallery card and a one-move drill for most of them. It ends with a checkpoint that needs two pieces of gear and a trigger.
The lessons are grouped into chapters, from the table and your runes to timing and keywords, with your progress per chapter. Lessons can now ask a quick question, have you predict a fight before you play it, and hold several drills. Every word the course teaches is in the new glossary. More chapters are on the way.

Per Riot's Radiance FAQ, when Broken Blade becomes exhausted her choice now goes on the Chain, and the buff is spent only when it resolves. Pass once to resolve it. When she moves with Stellacorn Herder, the Herder's draw resolves first. The trials' answers haven't changed.
Trials now set your Chosen Champion beside your Legend, in the Champion Zone, instead of in your hand. Play it from there just like a card in hand: same cost, same timing. It isn't part of your hand, so discards, hand counts and "play from your hand" effects don't touch it.

Every Intermediate and harder K'Sante trial now plays on a full board against a real Garen or Renekton, and most span two turns: take a battlefield, hide Block there, and spring it before his double tonight — or save Ntofo Strikes for tomorrow. Accelerated Courage is a Beginner trial now, and Double the Partner was folded into Double Down.
Submitting a combo? Tap cards into place to rebuild the board: Legends, units, gear, runes, hand, trash and points. We get it as a ready-made trial setup, so good finds become trials faster.

A Bomb, Demacian Standard or The Ball at a battlefield was drawn in your base. It's now drawn at its battlefield, where it really is, so a Bomb's "here" is easy to see. The rules didn't change: a Bomb always hit enemies at its own battlefield.

Dragon's Rage can only be played with an enemy to move and another enemy where it lands. Pull, Don't Kick and Kick Him Home are rebuilt around that, on fuller boards.
Each Heron's discount is now a trigger: let it resolve before the next card. A card played in response doesn't get it, and two Herons with nothing in between stack.

When Azir, Sovereign attacks you pick any number of your token units to bring, not all or none. Arise! can play its Sand Soldiers to a battlefield you control, as well as your base.

Jin's combo: arm one Sand Soldier, take A, Deathgrip it into the other, then [Equip] all three pieces again for B.

His Intermediate+ trials now play on full boards against Garen, with hands, trash and runes on both sides. New: Pick the Trap, choose which [Hidden] card waits at A.

Her Intermediate+ trials now face Jhin on full boards, often across your turn and theirs. Some easier ones moved down to Beginner. New: Something to Hide.

Her Intermediate+ trials now play on full boards, hands and runes on both sides, often across your turn and theirs. New Expert: Last Verse.

Play Astral Heron for 6 this turn, then let its discount pay for the Blade.

Nine Intermediate+ trials rebuilt on real boards, where the opponent's replies are searched. Some easier ones moved down to Beginner.
Ahri's Fox and Friend is playable without signing in: share it with a friend.

Every Intermediate+ trial is a real mid-game turn, with Lux's hand and runes in play. New: Set the Snare, conquer and hide Fox-Fire for their turn.

Full boards on both sides; Clean Cut rebuilt across two turns. New: Ray-Proof (Advanced) and Banish and Hide (Expert).

Hub and Top deck trials rebuilt on full boards. Burst and Rebuff now runs your turn, theirs, then your Hold.
Every card spotlight in one place, with the trials built around each card.
Search the top bar by Legend, champion, title, Domain or set. Typos are fine.
When a line can't win any more, a banner says why, with Undo and Retry.
Board cards show Buff, Stunned, Empowered, this turn's Might and granted keywords.
Choosing a target on a phone opens a popup listing every card you can pick.
In reaction trials, each of the opponent's actions gets its own card: what they did and what happens if it resolves.
