Kennen (post-ban)
The deck that took three of Barcelona's top 5: Kennen's Legend charges whenever you play a card from anywhere but your hand — Nocturne straight off the top of the deck, Lightning Rush from the trash, a spell Fizz replays — and spends the charge on [Assault 2]. Riot banned Stacked Deck on 18 September 2026 for making that dig too consistent. These trials play the list with three Trifarian Captains in its place: a 2-Energy unit that looks at four cards instead of three, still sees Nocturne, and can draw a unit or gear — but not a spell, and never mid-fight.
How it works ◆
- Heart of the Tempest empowers whenever you play a card from somewhere other than your hand; its [Action] spends that for [Assault 2].
- Nocturne, Horrifying plays for [C] when you look at the top of your deck and see him without drawing him — Lightning Rush and (post-ban) Trifarian Captain both do.
- Lightning Rush trashes what it doesn't take, so its own [Flow] and Kennen's conquer bring spells back from the trash — more charges.
- Trifarian Captain replaces Stacked Deck: four cards deep instead of three, a body on the board, and it can draw Fizz, Last Rites or another Captain — but it's a unit, so it digs before the fight, never during it.
- Gust, Switcheroo and Star-Crossed hold the board on the opponent's turn.

Stacked Deck has been banned since 18 September 2026 (Riot's September ban list). The last column is the Barcelona #2 list with its three Stacked Decks swapped for three Trifarian Captains — the list these trials use. Los Angeles #13 is a real post-ban list: it cut Nocturne instead.
