Rift Academy

Privacy

Rift Academy is a free practice app for the Riftbound card game. It has no accounts, ads, paywall or tracking. An optional tip jar (Buy Me a Coffee) helps cover its running costs; nothing on the site is locked behind it.

Signing in to the test site

The test site asks you to sign in with Google so only invited testers can use it. We receive your name and email address from Google, and use your email only to check whether it's on the testers list. We don't receive your password, and we don't store your name.

If you ask for access, or to join the next beta, your email is saved to the testers list (or the list of requests, or the next beta's list) until the site owner approves or removes it. The sign-in itself is kept in a cookie in your browser; signing out deletes it.

Feedback

If you send feedback or submit an interaction, what you write (and the cards you pick), the page you were on, your moves in that trial, and your browser type are sent to the site owner by email and saved in their Google Drive. A name or email is only included if you type one in.

Beta survey

On the test site, testers are asked a short, optional survey about their card-game experience. Your answers and the email you signed in with (plus a social media handle, only if you choose to give one) are saved in the site owner's Google Drive, and used for the beta only.

Tips

The "Buy me a coffee" link opens buymeacoffee.com in a new tab. Rift Academy sends it nothing; if you leave a tip, that happens on Buy Me a Coffee's site, under its own privacy policy.

Your data

We never sell or share your information. To have your email or feedback removed, send a message through the feedback form or email projecteddyhq@gmail.com.
