The Final Point
The Victory Score is the number of points you need to win: 8 in a duel.
The last point has a catch. When you're one point from winning, a Conquer gives you that point only if you've scored every battlefield this turn. If you haven't, you draw a card instead (the top card of your Main Deck goes to your hand) and gain no point. The battlefield still counts as scored this turn, for the next Conquer's check. Only this turn counts: what you scored last turn doesn't.
- On 7 with two battlefields: conquer A (you draw a card, A is scored), then conquer B. Now every battlefield is scored, so B is the 8th point.
- On 7, conquer A and stop: B isn't scored, so you only drew a card.
- A Hold has no catch. On 7, holding a battlefield at the start of your turn is the 8th point.
So at 7, count the battlefields: score them all this turn, or take one and keep it until your next turn starts.
You're on 7 points. You haven't scored Battlefield B this turn. You conquer A. What happens?
You're on 7 and so is Garen. Your Monk (4) can beat his Bladekeeper (3) at B; your Student (2) can't. A is empty. Where should the Monk go?
Make your guess, then play the drill to find out.
- Bandle Tree. Score it first: you draw a card, and it counts as scored.

- Hallowed Tomb. Now every battlefield is scored: this Conquer is the 8th point.
