Show Off
[Show Off] is a new keyword from Radiance. It's written "[Show Off] something": a Mech, a gear, a unit, a card that costs 7 or more…
- As you play the card, you may show off something that fits: reveal it from your hand, or pick one of your own cards already on the board.
- The card then gives you a bonus "if you showed off". Some bonuses use what you showed: Primordial Roar deals damage equal to the shown unit's Might.
- It's optional. If you have nothing that fits, or you'd rather keep your hand secret, play the card anyway without the bonus.
- Showing off doesn't use anything up: a revealed card stays in your hand, and a picked card stays where it is. A fitting card in your hand is enough: it doesn't have to be on the board first.
- Anything about what you showed (its Might, its cost) is checked at the moment you show it. Changes after that don't matter.
In these drills the game does the showing off for you whenever you have something that fits, because it only ever helps, and the move log tells you what was shown.
- Incorrigible Construct: [Show Off] a Mech. It enters ready if you showed off.

- Gem Jammer is a Mech, so it's something to show off.

- Primordial Roar: [Show Off] a unit, then deal damage equal to its Might.

- Battle Preparations: a [Reaction] that shows off a gear to ready 2 runes.

- Gutter Guardian: shows off a card with [Hidden].

- The Empyrean: shows off any card, then uses its Power cost.
