After the damage, dead units go to the trash and the rest heal. Then look at who is left at the battlefield:
Only your attackers: you take the battlefield. That's a Conquer, and you score.
Only their defenders: they keep it. Your surviving attackers, if any, go back to your base.
Nobody: both sides died. Now nobody controls it, even if the defender did before.
So a tie, like 3 against 3, kills both units and leaves the battlefield empty. You don't score, but they've lost it, and an empty battlefield is easy to walk into.

1Clear the Way
You're on 7 and B is already scored. Flame Chompers (3) holds A. Your Clockwork Keeper (2) is exhausted and would lose to it anyway. Cemetery Attendant (3) can tie with the Chompers (both die); then your Legend, Unforgiven (pay 2 Energy and exhaust it: move a friendly unit to or from your base, even an exhausted one), can move the Keeper into an empty A.
Need a hint?
Attack A with Cemetery Attendant. Then use Unforgiven to move Clockwork Keeper to A.
You're on 7 and B is already scored. Starhound (6) holds A. Peak Guardian (5) hits hard, but if anything of Darius's is still standing after the fight, he keeps A. Win the fight and keep one of yours standing.
Need a hint?
Send Peak Guardian and Demacian Diplomat to A together.
